A beautiful combination of Techno, Trance, Drum & Bass and Ambient-Dub infused beats and textured layers that take the listener from one point of their universe to unknown realms beyond the concept of human understanding. Each track is composed to create a separate atmosphere, then is programmed in layout and blended in flow to alter from one dimension of sound to the next. Galaxy creates a fluid, seamless soundscape that keeps the listener guessing as to where they will end up once the circle is complete. I often found myself staring out into the starlit night wondering if we will someday be able to communicate with other intelligent beings beyond our universe. If so, I wonder if they have music as thought-provoking as what I have heard tonight from this Galaxy. Wunjo

Spring Heel Jack, Woob, Smith & Mighty and Roni Size are just a few of the well-known musical creators who lend their talents to this CD. If you like acoustic, percussion-based music with a modern twist, then you should definitely check this out. If you're lucky enough, I've even seen copies of this come in a 12" double-pack. Wunjo
Welcome, welcome, welcome. Please feel free to kick off your shoes and relax to this drum & bass, dub & jazz jungle compilation. Then again, you may want to leave your shoes on! This compilation combines a variety of up/downbeat music that pulses with life. Whether you're in the car or on the couch you will be happy with the rich, deep bass, beats and jazzy grooves that will be coming out of your speakers. Every song carries a different and distinct flavor unto itself, yet helps to solidify the direction, movement and feel of the whole. Each song combines modern electronic composition with a subtle indigenous touch for a CD that connects the ancient tribes to the modern world. Wunjo
Dark, deeply rich synthetic textures that creep up on you like a thick fog along the banks of an ocean town or green, moss-covered country lake. Miso asks the listener to "Rise Up." The percussion is aggressive and driving, pushing the listener to the brink of madness and then delivering haunting, yet uplifting strings into each new phrase of chaos. Just when you think you can't take it anymore, Rotor soothes your ragged nerves with "Cinnamon (Dedicated To A Rose Mix)." You can then take a breath of fresh air along with the beautiful multi-layered synthetic textures and piano keys that rise up with each elated thought that the end is near--the end of the CD, that is. As you reach over and hit the replay button and dip down into the chaos again, you smile and mentally thank each artist for creating such aggressive, beautiful and emotional music. Wunjo
Amazingly dark and intense! X-Dream's Radio is a definite must-hear if you haven't heard it already. If you go to any parties at all I'm sure you've heard most of these tracks. Starting out with the title track "Radio" the alien transmissions begin. X-Dream brings your ears some richly-layered acid synths and minimal bass together to form their unique style of trance. "Freak" ascends very quickly from the start and keeps driving hard 'til the end! "The Frog" is another track that I think most of you will recognize from the dance floor. Starting it off with the continuous frog loop slowly lifting and building, then breaking it down again only shock you by slammin' it in again. A definite traveler. "Psychomachine" combines the elements of trance, breakbeat and techno all rolled up in one sick track. A trippy traveler on the gloom tip indeed! This is the shiaz. Jefsta
